Looking Ahead: Building for the Future
Star of Hope is entering an exciting new chapter—one focused on long-term growth, stability, and expanded opportunities for the individuals we support. As demand for services continues to increase, we are making intentional investments that allow us to plan ahead while staying true to our mission of providing high-quality, person-centered supports.
A new administration building is a critical step toward expanding Star of Hope’s services across the community. By establishing a dedicated administrative hub, we are creating the infrastructure necessary to support the planned development of a secondary Coos Day Activities Program. This expansion will increase access to meaningful day supports, reduce capacity constraints, and provide additional options for individuals and families seeking services in Coos County.
This forward-looking approach ensures that program growth is supported by strong systems, thoughtful planning, and sustainable operations. By investing in infrastructure today, Star of Hope is positioning itself to meet tomorrow’s needs—while continuing to deliver services that promote inclusion, independence, and quality of life.

Ways to Help
We’ve been incredibly encouraged by the number of community members asking how they can help and support the work ahead. Star of Hope’s growth has always been made possible through community partnership, and as we move forward with new facilities and expanded programs, financial support plays a meaningful role in turning this momentum into lasting impact.
For those who are able, donations—large and small—help fund infrastructure, programming, and the long-term sustainability needed to expand services thoughtfully and responsibly.
Donation opportunities are listed below for anyone who would like to be part of what’s next.

Tree Fundraiser
As a highlight of this project, we are planting a variety of trees and landscaping elements that will shape the look, feel, and environmental sustainability of our campus. Rather than viewing this as simply a construction requirement, we’ve turned it into an opportunity for the community to be part of something lasting.
Through our tree sponsorship program, supporters can help fund the planting of these trees—each one becoming a living symbol of growth, inclusion, and hope—while enjoying a tangible, joyful way to contribute.
Sponsored trees may be recognized with a dedication or plaque, making it a meaningful and memorable way to support Star of Hope and watch your generosity grow alongside us.
