Residential Services

Star of Hope has 10 residential facilities located throughout the Coos Bay and North Bend that blend in to their surrounding neighborhoods, with staff that provide service with a high level of communication, understanding, commitment, and a special bond to best support individuals' needs.

All staff focus on providing extensive training in the following areas, and many more:

  • Life Skills
     

  • Daily Activities
     

  • Financial Management including Representative Payee Services
     

  • Health Management including appointment scheduling and assistance
     

  • Medication Management and Administration
     

  • Menu planning and meal preparation, including special diets.
     

  • Appropriate social interaction assistance and opportunities.
     

  • Many planned and spontaneous activities at home and in the community.
     

  • Transportation for activities, personal business, and other needs.

Focusing on the Individual

Cammann Street

Apartment style facility with room for up to 5 individuals in 4 living units.

This facility focuses on life skills training to enhance resident independence, with transition into their own homes being a goal.

5 bed home for individuals with varied needs.

Very roomy home with a pleasing layout that allows each resident to have plenty of their own space.

This home is fully wheelchair accessible in all areas and has a Registered Nurse on call.

Individuals are afforded many opportunities for socialization with a large living and dining area and an emphasis on communal activity.
