Star of Hope has created a "Menu of services" in order to meet the needs, and preferences of consumers and their families. Many of the individuals we work with in our Vocational Department would like to find jobs in the community, however, they often need to improve certain skills to become employable. Some consumers do not want to work, or may have mental and physical disabilities, or medical conditions, which severely limits their ability to work. Once a persons preferences and needs are assessed, the menu of services is intended to act as an aid in selecting the areas which are important in helping an individual reach their full potential in life and their goals.
