Jobs

Nearly all employment positions at Star of Hope include direct service to individuals with developmental disabilities. This may consist of assisting individuals with medications and daily activities.

Basic Requirements

  • All applicants are required to successfuly pass a Criminal History check and a pre-employment drug screening.
  • All applicants must have a valid Oregon Driver License with no more than two violations in a three-year period.
  • All applicants must have a GED, High School Diploma or two years' experience in the field.
  • Three verfiable employment references. Personal references may be used in place of employment references if needed.

Employees are required by the State of Oregon to have 12 hours of training annually. Star of Hope employees average an additional eight hours each year, for a total of 20 hours annually. We offer many trainings to enhance our employee's ability to work with and understand people with developmentally disabilities.
