Your business depends upon your customer's trust. Even outdated or inactive company files can become an embarrassing and expensive legal liability if inadvertently disclosed. In Star of Hope's document destruction process, information is destroyed by shredding and cannot be retrieved, thus protecting the privacy of individual's and businesses.
Star of Hope provides our customers with fifty-five gallon locking containers for collecting and storing confidential materials. We can also provide under the desk size locking containers for your convenience. When they are full, a call to our office will initiate a pick-up and delivery of replacement containers. The record's are transported to our recycling center where they are weighed and placed in a secure area. Once shredded, a certificate of destruction is issued to the originating company or agency.
All confidential documents handled and stored by Star of Hope are in accordance with:
Oregon Administrative Rules (OAR) 166-030-0060
Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act - HIPPA
to assure confidentality and security of the documents.
