Residential

Star of Hope provides several types of homes that blend into Coos County neighborhoods from group homes to independent living apartments. Our residential programs provide opportunities for both individul and group training in a variety of skill areas and in a supportive home setting.

Each home has a community living, dining and kitchen area. There is a seperate bedroom for each indivudal, that is decorated and furnished according to each resident's unique taste.

Star of Hope is not a replacement for family, but we provide services with a special bond, commitment and level of communication and understanding to best support the individual's needs.

Star of Hope's residential staff strive to uphold personal rights and responsibilities so that each individual is as independent as possible within their community.

Star of Hope currently manages six homes in the Coos Bay/North Bend area for 34 Adults with Developmental Disabilities.
